I'm A Therapy Dog!

On October 13, 2001, I passed my certification test to become a Therapy Dog certified by Therapy Dogs International, Inc. (TDI).  TDI is a volunteer group organized to provide qualified handlers and their Therapy Dogs for visitations to institutions, facilities, and any other place where Therapy Dogs are needed.

Following are some links that will provide additional information about therapy dogs:

There is no charge for my (or any TDI Associate Therapy Dog's) visits. Therapy Dogs International is a non profit organization.  To learn more about the organization, visit their web site; http://www.tdi-dog.org/.  I'm sure they will also be happy to accept any donations you may wish to offer.  ;-)

Want me to visit?
If you have an interest in inviting me to visit your facility, please send me an e-mail with the name and type of the institution or organization,  the location, days and times that would be good for you as well as any other information you feel would be beneficial.  Unfortunately, my human works during the day and frequently travels for business, therefore week days are out.  Evenings during the week, although possible, may need last minute rescheduling.  In the winter (when there are no Canine Frisbee competitions) weekends are usually preferable.

I live in Middletown, New Jersey and although I LOVE to ride in the car, there is a limit to how far I may be able to convince my human to drive.

A special thanks to Johnny McGuire who encouraged me to become a therapy dog and served as my official TDI "evaluator".

Be sure to visit his Fly-N-K9 Therapy and frisbee site!

Here is a site,  www.superdog.com/therapy.htm with some really great stories about Therapy Dogs.
