Middletown, NJ is Going to the Dogs!

It's Saturday morning Oct 9th and the Competition WILL go on as planned.  See you in Middletown!

Disc dogs, that is!

On Saturday, October 9th, man's best friend takes to the skies to compete in the 30th year of organized events, the 2004 Skyhoundz Canine Disc championships.

The Yankee Flyers Dog & Disc Club is sponsoring this canine disc competition at:

    Stevenson Park
940 West Front Street
Middletown, NJ

Come and compete!   If you have a dog that can catch a Frisbee, is sociable around people and other dogs, is current on all shots, come on out and compete.  Mighty mutts and playful purebreds that can catch a disc are invited to enter.   We're expecting a lot of "first-timers" so don't feel intimidated (your dog won't).  There is no pressure, it’s a lot of fun and your dog will love you for it!

Spectators are welcome and encouraged!   Bring the lawn chairs and come see the fur fly in Middletown.  There is no admission fee for either spectators or competitors.

Sign-up for competitors starts at 9:15 A.M. and closes promptly at 10:15 ...... so we can get started on time (10:30 A.M.).

Each team will compete in two rounds of Distance Accuracy competition.  If you're interested in learning more about what that entails see the following:
