York, PA - State Challenge
FrisbeeDog Competition - 8/18/2001

Plf1 Team New Jersey wins the NCAC State Challenge the 2nd year in a row!

On Saturday August 18th, the National Capitol Air Canines frisbeedog club held their  annual canine frisbee state challenge in York, PA.  There were teams representing North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  There were no less than six individual teams who were either current or past world finalists!  I'm proud to say that the new Jersey team (Bear & Chris, Kallah & Kevin and Rudy & Bob) was victorious.  I will add a page to my Year 2001 Competitions page as soon as I receive them.  I can tell you that Chris & Bear won the overall individual champs, Kalah & Kevin won the distance and we wound up 3rd in the Accuracy competition.

See the complete results, below  (soon I hope!):

Thanks to Jeff Hoke, his wife and everyone else from the NCAC who pitched in to run this great event!  There were at least 4 kinds of chili and some more wonderful food which helped make the day even more special.
