Van Cortland Park Official Alpo Canine Frisbee Competition - 5/7/2000


Plf1 Was it ever hot at the ALPO Canine Frisbee Community Finals in Van Cortlandt Park on Broadway in the Bronx, New York!  But that didn't stop us.  A great time was had by all. 

My friend Smokin won (as usual).  I wound up tied for second with Zephyr at the end of the regular competition.  As a tie breaker, we had to go to an overtime round of "sudden death" to see who would win second place.  Zephyr went first and received a 3.5 on his catch.  Then I went.  My thrower came up a little short.   I was told that I was right on the line but in the 2.5 point section.  For the second year in a row I lost a tie-breaker round.  Last year I had tied Smokin for first and wound up second.  This year I tied for second and wound up third.  Next year look out Smokin and Zephyr, it's my turn!
