Van Cortlandt Park Official Alpo Canine Frisbee Competition - 5/2/99

Was it ever windy at the ALPO Canine Frisbee Community Finals in Van Cortlandt Park on Broadway in the Bronx, New York!  But that didn't stop us.  A great time was had by all. 

My friend Smokin and I wound up tied for first at the end of the regular competition.   As a tie breaker, we had to go to three rounds of "sudden death" run off's to see who would get first place.  Both Smokin and I had 6's the first two rounds.  On the third round I got lazy, didn't jump and only got a five.  Smokin naturally was "smokin" and got a 6!  He won this event last year too!
