Philadelphia  Official Alpo Canine Frisbee Competition - 5/6/2000

This was the third year I competed in this Philadelphia event in West Fairmount Park, and once again I had a great time!   Last year I won the event and it was my first win ever.  The pressure was on this year with the new rules and scoring.  My partner, Bob, had a little bit of trouble with a couple of his throws but somehow we were lucky enough to garner first place again this year.

The competition was tough and I was lucky to come out ahead of the talented and attractive Lab Rosie.  It was great seeing Captain Kirk competing again this year and having a great time doing it.  I sure hope when I'm 12 years old I can still hold my own in Frisbeedog competitions like the Captain.  And I had a hard time taking my eyes off the georgeous yellow Rosie who always accompanies the Captain.  I think the Captain is my hero.
