MORE PARISH "OUT-REACH" PROGRAMS

Haiti Parish Twinning. The purpose of the Haiti Parish Twinning Program is to build a bridge of love, through mutual communications and developmental aid, between St. Joseph Catholic Church in Keyport, NJ and the Catholic Parish of St. Joseph in Pignon, Haiti. This ministry is active in conducting periodic appeals for clothing, school supplies, medical supplies, sewing and embroidery materials, and through fund-raising at Christmas and Easter by selling goods made by the Pignon parishioners. The money and supplies collected by these appeals are sent to Haiti to enable the parishioners to develop trades, crafts, and small business cooperatives. Once a year a parish delegation travels to Haiti to strengthen the parish twinning ties.

One thing I ask of the Lord;

This I seek:

To dwell in the house of the Lord

All the days of my life,

That I may gaze on the loveliness of the Lord and contemplate His Temple.
